What to Expect from the Assessment Process:

Your journey to certification includes the following assessment steps:

✔️ Formative Assessment:
Throughout the programme, you will complete assessment activities to demonstrate understanding of assessment planning, evidence gathering, and judgment.
✔️ Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA):
Within four weeks of completing the training, you will submit a portfolio of evidence.
✔️ Portfolio of Evidence (PoE):
You’ll compile a comprehensive PoE that includes assessment plans, tools, evidence records, and feedback — demonstrating your ability to conduct valid, fair, and reliable assessments.
✔️ Document Review and Questioning:
Your assessor will evaluate all documentation and conduct questioning to test your applied knowledge and decision-making ability.
✔️ Certification:
Once competence is confirmed, you will receive a Statement of Results issued by the ETD Quality Assurance Partner (QAP).

Janelle has been involved in the skills development area in industry sectors such as hospitality, travel, mining, manufacturing, business process outsourcing and services (BPS & O) and education and skills development.

She has a wealth of experience in learning and development methodologies and is an expert in the skills development legislation. ​ She is an Assessor, Moderator and Skills development Facilitator and works with a number of different SETAs.​

She has been part of the QCTO occupational qualification development team for SDF Administrator and Practitioner and part of the development team for the Contact Centre manager Occupational qualification.
