Entry Requirements

To enroll in this qualification, you should:

✔️ You have achieved a minimum of NQF Level 4 qualification
✔️ You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a risk-related role
✔️ You are currently working as a Risk Practitioner or in a similar support capacity
✔️ You have basic computer literacy and office administration skills (e.g., email, document filing, data entry)

What to Expect from the Assessment Process:

✔️ Internal Assessments:
After each module, you’ll submit a Portfolio of Evidence aligned to the programme schedule. This includes written tasks, workplace documentation, and knowledge checks.

✔️ Workplace Evidence:
You’ll gather real-world evidence during your workplace experience to demonstrate your ability to apply what you’ve learned.

✔️ Assessment Preparation Sessions:
Facilitators will guide you through dedicated online sessions to help you prepare for formal assessments.

✔️ External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA):
Once all internal components are completed, you’ll write the EISA through an approved QCTO Assessment Quality Partner (AQP). This final assessment focuses on the qualification’s Exit Level Outcomes.

✔️ Certification:
Upon successful completion of the EISA, the QCTO will issue your official Occupational Certificate.

🧾 Note: The EISA is overseen by a registered assessor and administered at an accredited venue. The QCTO issues the final certificate upon successful completion.

Meet our Subject Matter Expert

Marianne Hendrikse

Marianne started her career in Risk Management in 2008. While working at a big petro-chemical company, she enrolled for a degree in Risk Management at UNISA. She qualified in 2010 and pursued her career in Risk Management. She joined Khulisane Academy in 2018 as facilitator and assessor for the Risk Manager Practitioner course. She also facilitated and assessed other short courses for Khulisane. ​
Marianne is involved with the activities of the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) where she is part of different initiatives contributing to and promoting the role of risk management in South Africa and neighbouring countries. ​
Marianne believes that people working in a risk management role should have the opportunity to obtain certification, thereby expanding their knowledge and gaining better recognition in the workplace. ​
