Item 3 Skills Development Facilitator Toolkit

As a skills development facilitator it is your responsibility to determine the learning culture of your organisation, determine the training needs in your organisation, conduct skills audits, plan accordingly, report the planning, assist with the implementation of learning interventions, develop job profiles and code your employees according to the OFO coding system and report on training interventions.

The instruments provided in this toolkit will assist you in doing just that. We have learned from experience how frequently we misjudge the time spend on developing tools and therefore we have developed this tool will save you time and money in the long term. Remember that this toolkit does not replace your competence to facilitate skills development in your organisation. You will still need to be trained as a skills development facilitator in order to apply the principles at the right places.
